What a fantastic day we had at Murton Park! As soon as we arrived, we were transported back in time to The Stone Age. We spent the day in role, wearing our tunics in the village. ‘Raven’ was our tribe leader for the day and we began by being given our jobs to complete.

Raven was very impressed with what we already knew about life during the Stone and Bronze Ages!

Throughout the day, we worked collaboratively to complete the tasks which included: grinding wheat, making ‘Bell Beaker’ pottery, hunting and weaving.

We enjoyed listening to a story around the fire in the roundhouse to end the wonderful day.
